Brigitte Stanford
Professional photographer
Experience
Brig has shot on over 100 international television commercials, with portraits of people as diverse as Andy Green (land speed record holder), people of the Pondo tribe, Jimmy Nevis and Royals in Arabia. She has taught at Orms School of Photography and Vega college in Cape Town. She received another award from EyeEm for Most Eye-Catching Pictures of the year in 2017.

Dreamscapes and strong colours are prominent in her work whether she is shooting a lifestyle campaign, landscape or fashion editorial. She has a contagious laugh and a determination beyond her years, along with an incredible eye for the sublime and a willingness to hop in a car/truck/plane/
sidecar/boat without notice if it means she can shoot something interesting. Brigitte wanted to expand her expertise, so in 2017 she began to Load and Camera Assist and hopes to D.O.P in the future. She is represented in her home country and internationally for her photography work.
«I always say, I want my work to be visually arresting. I think and often feel in imagery and so I want your senses to wake up! You must taste it, hear it, and take a moment from your crazy, busy life to feel it. Then I've won the battle. I enjoy playing with metaphors and layers of ideas, pairing things that shouldn't be paired, like sassy, quirky comments but with imagery.»

Kimberly Walker
After completing the beginner's photography course online, I received all the necessary knowledge: I have mastered all the shooting modes. There are simply no incomprehensible buttons on the camera. I got a basic knowledge of what settings need to be set for certain scenes. I began to see mistakes in other people's photos and understand how I could take a photo of better quality.
Thanks to the photo course, I realised the importance of gaining systemic knowledge. I can definitely say that individual lessons on different camera settings (from the category "How to photograph nature?", "How to adjust ISO?", etc.) do not give the same effect as the basic photo course.
Suzanne Boyd
I liked the content of the online photography classes, the individual approach to each student, the approach to organizing practical classes, the atmosphere and mood in the group created by the teacher. My knowledge about photography has increased by 80%. Online photography school for me is an opportunity to look at the world from a different angle.
Benjamin Ball
The course is great. I gained a lot of knowledge that I apply in my life as a beginner photographer. The tasks and their analysis are especially good. Although you don't always have time to do everything, you can look at the assignments of colleagues - students and learn photography online from them (this is my favourite part).
Thank you Kimberly ❤️
